Tristan A. Dahn has been on the staff of Energize, Inc. since 2010, managing the online bookstore and the “News in the Volunteer Field” Blog, among other responsibilities. He came to Energize via his interest and involvement with both books and volunteers. From 2006 to 2010, he simultaneously worked for an independent book store and held the role of volunteer volunteer leader at Books Through Bars in Philadelphia. He continues to be active with the all-volunteer BTB, both as a leader of frontline volunteers and as a member of BTB’s governing collective.
In his life outside the paid and volunteer worlds, Dahn is both a long-distance runner and a musician – neither of which he is generally paid for. He is planning a bicycle trek with a friend across the entire United States.
