Amie Frayne is Volunteer Development Manager at The Brain Tumour Charity, UK. Although a relative newcomer to the volunteer management profession, she has various roles in the third sector under her belt, a background in psychology, and a wealth of personal experience volunteering. Four years ago, when Frayne took on her first volunteer management role, it felt like a natural fit.
Frayne is passionate about helping others to engage effectively with volunteers. She encourages them to take a collaborative approach to ensure that opportunities provide as much value to volunteers as the organisations they support.
Frayne is currently working towards the Certified in Volunteer Administration credential. She is a lover of the outdoors and when not working, she is most often found running or cycling around some of the UK’s beautiful trails.
