Mary Jane Horton contributed to the design of this training during her year with Americorps VISTA, assigned to the Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration (MAVA). Horton currently works as the Literacy Coordinator for RSVP of the Greater Twin Cities, connecting older adults with opportunities to engage in their communities as volunteers in a variety of K-12 and Adult Basic Education tutoring programs. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Sociology from Gordon College located on the North Shore of Boston.
