Meghan Kaskoun has been active in volunteer management for nearly three decades. Now the Training Coordinator at Cincinnati-based Western & Southern Financial Group, Kaskoun was previously with the Cincinnati Arts Association for 21 years as the Volunteer Manager and then Director of Volunteer Engagement & Guest Experience.
Kaskoun is widely known throughout the volunteer management community. In 2018 she was appointed by Ohio Governor John Kasich to be on the Ohio Commission on Service and Volunteerism. In 2011, her guidance towards a complicated merger led to the Aronoff Center Volunteer Program being named an Outstanding Volunteer Program. She was a leader in the early 2000s within the International Association for Volunteer Administration (formerly AVA), serving on the Board and as Co-Chair for their annual international conference held in Cincinnati in 2003.
Kaskoun is a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) and is a Management of Volunteer Programs (MVP) graduate and presenter through the Cincinnati Association of Volunteer Administrators (CAVA). She regularly presents regionally and nationally on Volunteer Management and helps plan the Ohio Conference on Service and Volunteerism. Actively involved with CAVA, her leadership was utilized on the CAVA Board for six years, and she currently serves in an advisory role.
