Dalya F. Massachi

Dalya F. Massachi has been an avid writer since learning to hold a pencil. Her first letter to the editor was published in her hometown (Charlotte, N.C.) newspaper when she was only 12 years old. She has been writing about social issues ever since.

Massachi, founder of Writing for Community Success, specializes in helping nonprofit professionals and volunteers advance their missions through outstanding written materials. She is a widely published writer, trainer, writing coach, editor, consultant and activist, primarily focusing on fund development and communications.

During her 20 years in the field, she has crafted countless successful marketing pieces, grant proposals, news articles and columns. In addition, she has been involved with the production of several books (as editor or contributor) and has produced a number of websites and radio pieces. Since 2001, Massachi has taught writing techniques to several thousand workshop, online seminar, and college course participants. In addition, many professionals and volunteers have come to her for one-on-one writing coaching.
