Shari Tishman

Shari Tishman runs communications and business development at VolunteerMatch, the Web’s largest volunteer engagement network. A writer who is passionate about nonprofit capacity building, she regularly engages millions of do-gooders online as a primary author for the blog, “Engaging Volunteers.”

Tishman previously led marketing and outreach at GreatNonprofits, and worked with Net Impact and the Stanford University Office of Development. Originally from Boston, Tishman graduated from Stanford with a BA in Psychology and a BS in Biological Sciences. While a student, she got hooked on the Bay Area lifestyle with its good food, good wine, and good weather. Today, the only thing that's East coast about Tishman is her allegiance to Boston sports.
