Charlene Wee is internationally and nationally certified in Administration of Volunteer Resources, earning the credential C.A.V.R. in 2009 and CVA in 2014. She has over 20 years experience in volunteer management and program development, and specializes in community and social engagement. Wee was recently honored with the IMPACT Award for Exemplary Leadership of Volunteers and has written publishable papers for journals on volunteer management. She consults for not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions, and festivals on board development and best practices in volunteer management. She has worked closely with the Vancouver Park Board, trained staff at the City of Burnaby, and is a Coordinator of Volunteer Engagement with the Canadian Cancer Society, a national not-for-profit organization.
