Amy Yambor is the Coordinator of Volunteers at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Central Park Zoo, overseeing volunteer zoo interpretation for both adults and teens. She began volunteering at the age of 18 to meet a high school requirement, and has been an active volunteer with various organizations ever since. It is this passion for volunteerism that led her down the career path into conservation-oriented volunteer management, and she has been professionally managing volunteers since 2006. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management from the University of Washington, and is currently earning a Master's degree in Biology from Miami University.
